Healthnet Canada was formed in 1998 as the means by which health workers in even the most rural portions of Canada could communicate using a simple, secure and inexpensive electronic mail system. Since that time, Healthnet Canada has expanded its role to include consulting and the development of an Enterprise Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Personal Health Record (PHR) system specifically targetting primary care.

Building on the model of secure communications developed by Healthnet Canada, we plan on a general release of the PHR system by Q2 2010.
